Cataract is increasing in children Dr. Bhasin said that it is 1.8 percent in children below 14 years of age. Population is increasing, cases are increasing due to this. He told that cataract is also occurring due to injury. The toys that children play with at home can cause eye injuries. Due to this, cases of cataract are also being reported. Eye tumors also cause problems. Dr. Bhasin told that the children of youth who marry in their gotra are facing eye problems.
one hour screen time The use of mobile, TV, tablet etc. has increased among children. Children watch mobile phones continuously for hours. Mothers hand over mobile phones to one year old children. This should not be done. Screen time for children should be only one hour. This also includes TV. Adopt the 20-20-20 formula. In this, after watching the mobile for 20 minutes, rest for 20 minutes, then look away for 20 minutes.

Earlier it was believed that cataract occurred only in the elderly. But now cataract occurs in children also. Apart from the city, more than 100 doctors from Aligarh and Firozabad participated. New techniques for eye treatment were also discussed.
