On the third day of the second Test match being played between Bangladesh and South Africa, South Africa defeated Bangladesh by an innings and 273 runs. With this the Proteas team won the series 2-0.
On Thursday, Bangladesh team started playing with 4 wickets for 38 runs and the entire team was all out for 159 runs. Mominul scored the highest score of 82 runs.
Kagiso Rabada took 5 wickets in the first innings for South Africa. Dane Pietersen and Keshav Maharaj took 2-2 wickets. 1 Success also went to Senuran Muthusamy. Bangladesh could not even cross the follow on score. In such a situation, Africa again called him to bat.

Earlier, on the second day, Bangladesh team was trailing by 537 runs. Till stumps, the team has scored 38 runs after losing 4 wickets in the first innings. Captain Nazmul Hasan Shanto is present at the crease after scoring 4 runs and Mominul Haq has scored 6 runs. Kagiso Rabada took 2 wickets.
Three batsmen scored centuries for South Africa. Tony De Georgi scored the highest score of 177 runs from the team. Apart from them, Tristan Stubbs scored 106 and Vian Mulder scored 105 not out.
Earlier, on Wednesday, the Proteas team started playing with a score of 307 runs and declared the innings at 575 runs after losing 6 wickets. Viaan Mulder along with Senuran Muthusamy added 152 not out off 186 balls.

Georgie scored a century on 146 balls on the first day. He batted brilliantly on the second day too and scored an inning of 177 runs. He was given out LBW by spinner Taijul Islam. Middle order batsman David Bedingham scored 59 runs on 78 balls.

After Tony DeGeorge and Tristan Stubbs, all-rounder Wiaan Mulder scored a century. Viaan scored 105 runs on 150 balls. Along with Senuran Muthusamy, he added 152 unbeaten runs on 186 balls. Muthusamy remained unbeaten on 68 runs on 75 balls.

Bangladeshi left arm spinner Taijul Islam took 5 wickets for 198 runs in 52.2 overs. Apart from him, Nahid Rana got 1 wicket.
