CLAT 2024: Students who wish to participate in the UG and PG law entrance examinations can visit the official website till the deadline to finish the registrations

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2024 registration window is scheduled to be closed today, November 10, by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs). Applicants may submit their applications to be considered for the legal entrance exam until 11:59 pm today on the CLAT’s official website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

The last date for students to modify their test centre options and make any required corrections to their completed application has also been issued by the Consortium of NLUs. Students have until November 12, to make changes

The deadline for registering for CLAT 2024 was set on November 3, as per the previously published timetable, however, that date was subsequently extended. CLAT 2024 will be held on December 3, from 2 pm to 4 pm, at multiple exam locations around the country.

It is imperative that candidates preparing for the CLAT 2024 examinations that they obtain their admit card from the official website as soon as the Consortium releases it. The CLAT 2024 admit card will provide information on the exam centre as well as other exam-related information. Students who wish to participate in the UG and PG law entrance examinations can visit the official website till the deadline to finish the registrations.

CLAT 2024: How to apply

Step 1: Go to consortiumofnlus.ac.in, the CLAT’s official website.

Step 2: Select the registration link for CLAT 2024.

Step 3: Fill out the registration form with your required credentials.

Step 4: Complete the application form for CLAT 2024.

Step 5: Click the link for the final submission after paying the application fee.

The CLAT 2024 paper will consist of 120 questions that are broken down into five areas based on the updated test pattern. The five sections are English, general knowledge (including current events), legal reasoning, logical reasoning, and quantitative aptitude. The CLAT 2024 paper will be administered for two hours and has a total of 120 marks.

To be eligible for undergraduate admission to CLAT 2024, applicants must ensure that their Class 12 board test score was at least 45 per cent. However, candidates belonging to the SC and ST categories have a lesser criterion, which is 40 per cent.

An application fee of Rs 4000 is required from applicants in the General/OBC/PWD/NRI category, while Rs 3500 is required to be paid by candidates in the SC/ST/BPL category. Online banking is the preferred method of payment. Candidates can visit the official website for further pertinent information.

22 National Law Universities in India provide undergraduate (UG) and graduate (PG) law programmes, and admission to these programmes requires passing the national entrance test, commonly referred to as CLAT.
