In such a situation, it becomes your responsibility that without any recommendation, you have to do special work at your level for the ease of doing business in the state as well as for the ease of living of the poor. Your energy and talent should be used for the life of the poor, your positive cooperation should be received in the investment possibilities, the general public and the youth should get support according to the time limit set for caste, residence, income certificate.

Proceedings related to inheritance, transfer and measurement should be completed on time. You should have a good image among the people and people should not be afraid of the name of Lekhpal. During the program, a short film on Mission Rozgar was also screened in front of CM Yogi. Along with Lok Bhavan, the program was also organized live in various commissionerates.

CM said- I want your positive support in the investment possibilities.

Carry out your responsibilities with honesty
CM Yogi appealed to the newly selected Lekhpals to discharge their responsibilities honestly. He said that you have a close connection with the public. Some have to lease land, some have to do the work of inheritance, some have to do the work of transfer, the possibility of investment has to be promoted by declaring agriculture as non-agriculture, somewhere the process of measurement has to be increased.

In rural and urban areas, violent incidents happen for one or two feet. If we measure and demarcate land on time, there will be no dispute. If some powerful land mafia is forcibly occupying government or poor people’s land, then we should take strong action there with the anti-land mafia task force. If any proposal for investment has come somewhere, then it should be taken forward in a timely manner. In case of disasters like floods, people should be given relief on time.

In the farmer accident insurance, in case of death of the farmer, any member of his family or sharecropper and his family member in any disaster, the relief amount should be given to his family in a timely manner. Do not do any work in a wrong way and use technology. The entire revenue system is being digitized. The process of providing laptops and tablets should be linked to the time of training itself.

He said that if any person residing in a rural area is traditionally living in a house built on the land of the village society, then he can get the ownership rights of his land through Gharauni. So far, we have provided this facility to more than 63 lakh people and our effort is to provide this facility to all 1.25 crore families by this year.

4700 new appointments will be completed soon

CM Yogi said that in order to take this appointment process forward in a time bound manner, the Revenue Department had given its requisition to the Subordinate Services Selection Commission in 2022. The commission completed the selection process with complete honesty and transparency, but it is the nature of some people to create obstacles in every good work.

There were attempts to create hurdles in the distribution of appointment letters to the newly selected Lekhpals, but the Revenue Department and the Subordinate Services Selection Commission fought for it and finally got the decision in their favour from the Supreme Court and today these appointment letters are being provided to 7720 newly selected youth as per their aspirations.

After the completion of this process, we have sent requisitions for 4700 more new appointments and will soon complete that process as well. As soon as this process is completed, the number of 3837 Lekhpals who should be appointed in the state will be complete.

CM said- Efforts were also made to create hurdles in the distribution of appointment letters of newly selected Lekhpals.

Energy will have to be applied to maintain the new identity of the state

Everyone has seen the picture before 2017. Half the posts of Lekhpals were lying vacant because there was no recruitment. There were many loopholes in the recruitment process. Even before the process started, the uncle-nephew duo would set out for recovery and the entire family would be allotted districts. This is the same Uttar Pradesh whose youth would be sidelined if they went anywhere outside.

The image of some districts was created in such a way that people did not give them accommodation in hotels and dharamshalas, let alone jobs. Today, wherever a youth goes, he is looked upon with great respect because they know that he is the new youth of the new Uttar Pradesh, the world is acknowledging his talent.

The work that has been done has given an identity to Uttar Pradesh. This new identity needs to be maintained and full strength and energy has to be put into it. On this occasion, Finance and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Khanna, Chairman Revenue Council Dr. Rajneesh Dubey, Principal Secretary Revenue P Guru Prasad, officers of the Revenue Department were present.

Crores of jobs were created in the state through investments and schemes

CM Yogi said about Mission Rozgar in the state that in the last 7 years you must have seen that the state government is taking the recruitment process forward with full honesty and without any discrimination as per the qualification and ability of the youth. The result of this is that 6 lakh youth have been provided government jobs and today all those youth are contributing to the development of the state in different fields.

More than 1.55 lakh police personnel have been appointed in the state, while the recruitment process of more than 1.54 lakh teachers has been completed. Apart from this, similar recruitment process has been completed in a timely manner in other departments as well. The CM said that till now our government has brought investments worth more than 15 lakh crore rupees on the ground in the state.

We still have investment proposals worth about Rs 30 lakh crore pending, which are being processed to be implemented. An excellent environment for investment has been created in the state, work has been done to encourage the MSME sector, and through all this we have provided employment opportunities to 1 crore 62 lakh youth in their own districts.

For the first time, such a large number of people got employment in their own districts and villages. Not only this, the state also worked to promote the schemes of the central and state government for self-employment, due to which 62 lakh people got employment in the state. Today, the result of this is that the unemployment rate of UP is falling rapidly and more and more youth have got the opportunity to get jobs and self-employment.
