Allahabad University has invited applications for PhD. Candidates can apply on the official website www.allduniv.ac.in. The last date of application for this course is November 15, 2023.
Allahabad University PhD admission is being conducted through Combined Research Entrance Test, CRET. Under this, admission will be given on 1148 seats. Of these, 733 are for university departments and centers while 415 seats are for colleges.
Educational Qualification:
- General category candidates must have done Graduation or PG with at least 55% marks.
- Candidates belonging to EWS/OBC/SC/ST/PWD categories are required to have 50% marks in post-graduation to apply.
Fees:
- Unreserved, OBC, EWS: Rs 1800
- SC, ST, PWD: Rs 900
Exam Pattern:
- The PhD entrance examination will be conducted in offline mode.
- This exam will be held in Prayagraj.
- Those who clear the written examination will be selected after personal interview.
- There will be 2 papers under this examination.
- The first paper will have 50 MCQ type questions.
- 100 marks are fixed for this.
- In the second paper, 10 short answer type, 20 medium and 1 long answer type questions will be asked.
- The second paper will be of 200 marks.

- Now click on the registration link.
- Complete the registration and log in.
- Fill the form and upload the documents.
- Pay the fees.
- Submit the form. Take a print out of it and keep it.
