On September 28, the Rajasthan government had announced the recruitment of 10 thousand 157 computer instructors in the state. In October, the government also released the syllabus of the recruitment exam. But till now the government has not issued any guideline regarding the educational qualification of the candidates appearing in the recruitment examination. In such a situation, now students across the state have started agitation demanding the release of computer instructor recruitment release.
In fact, after a long protest by the unemployed people of Rajasthan, the cabinet had decided to recruit computer instructors for the first time in the state. On 18 October, the government also made the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board as the nodal agency for the Computer Instructor Recruitment Examination. The government has not given any guidelines regarding the educational qualification of the candidates appearing in the recruitment examination. Because of this, the officials of the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board are also not issuing the notification of the recruitment exam.
Government’s stand on educational qualification is not clear
Chairman of Rajasthan Staff Selection Board, Hari Prasad Sharma said that the board has started preparations for conducting the recruitment examination. The position regarding the educational qualification of the candidates is not clear. Until the government’s stand is not clear, the release of the recruitment examination cannot be issued.

The exam is conducted only after 3 months of the release of the recruitment exam. In such a situation, until the computer instructor recruitment release is not issued, the examination will not even be conducted. Obviously, the recruitment exam will be pushed forward by a few months. Thousands of candidates preparing for the Computer Instructor Recruitment Exam will have to bear the direct loss of this. It will also happen that by the time the release is issued, many candidates do not fit in that age limit.
State President of Rajasthan Unemployed Unified Federation, Upen Yadav said that after a long struggle of unemployed, the government had decided to start Computer Instructor Recruitment Examination. Even now the government is delaying in issuing the release. Lakhs of unemployed people of the state are suffering due to this. In such a situation, if the notification of the recruitment examination is not issued in time. So the unemployed of the state will give a befitting reply to the government.
Recruitment has been done
On 20 February 2020, the Government of Rajasthan had announced the recruitment of Computer Teachers Cadre for the first time in Rajasthan in the budget. In June 2021, the government had announced the appointment of computer instructors on contract. Education Department has released the recruitment notification for 9862 posts of Basic Computer Instructor and 295 posts of Senior Computer Instructor. Basic Computer Instructors will be posted at District Level in Pay Matrix Level L-8. Senior Computer Instructors will be recruited in Level L-10 at the State level. The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board has been given the responsibility of conducting the examination. But the release has not been issued yet. Whereas the Rajasthan High Court has also ordered the department and the government on October 24 to complete the recruitment process in 4 months by February.
After the protest of the unemployed, the decision was taken in the cabinet
Unemployed computer teachers across the state have been agitating for a long time to release the recruitment notification. Recently, unemployed candidates demonstrated at the Civil Lines gate and tried to march to the CM residence. During this, he also had a mild clash with the police. After which the unemployed candidates were later met by the Special Secretary of the CM and assured them of fulfilling the demands.
Only after this a proposal to amend the rules was proposed in the cabinet. In which amendment in service rules for recruitment of computer instructor has been approved. After the approval of the amendment in the service rules from the cabinet, now the release of recruitment is likely to be issued in January.
