Sustainable Procurement Policy has been approved in Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University. Under this, purchase of goods friendly to environment, society and economy will be promoted. There will also be a ban on the purchase of items with harmful effects. The Executive Council of the University has approved this policy. Under this policy, steps will be taken to prevent carbon emissions and reduce environmental impact by giving preference to eco-friendly products and services.
