Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor was asked in an interview whether she has been named after the character played by Urmila Matondkar in the film ‘Judaai’. So in response to this, he said that his name was decided even before Urmila’s character. Along with this, he also told why his father Boney Kapoor and mother Sridevi liked his name Janhvi.

Janhvi said, “No, my name was not named after Urmila’s character in the film ‘Judaai’. I feel that mother and father liked this name before the film. Mother liked this name so much because It means purity and she kept looking at me and saying that I am pure soul.”

When Janhvi was asked that people keep telling her about her mother, what was her reaction? So to this she said, “I love when people say that I remind them of my mother.
