The first case of corona virus has been reported in IPL 2022. According to a statement issued by the IPL, Delhi Capitals physio Patrick Farhart has been found to be Kovid-19 positive. After being found positive, he has been quarantined and the medical team of Delhi is monitoring him.
Matches are being played on only 4 grounds
To save the tournament from Corona, all 70 matches of the league are being played on the grounds of Mumbai and Pune. The matches in Mumbai are being played at Wankhede, Brabourne Stadium and Dr DY Patil Stadium. At the same time, the match in Pune is being hosted by MCA Stadium.
