The National Testing Agency has postponed the examination of UGC NET 2021 in view of the circumstances caused by Corona. Union education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank gave information about this by sharing the post on social media.
The Union Education Minister said that, “Keeping in mind the safety of the candidates involved in the examination and conducting of the examinations between Corona, I had advised the NTA to postpone the UGC NET December 2020 (May 2021) examination.”
Examination was to be held from 02 May
The UGC NET exam for December 2020 cycle was to be held on computer mode from May 02 to May 17, 2021. But keeping in view the current situation and the health of the candidates, it is being postponed once again.
Information will be given 15 days before the exam
At present, no information has been provided about the new dates of the examination. The NTA has said that the candidates will be informed of the new exam schedule 15 days before the exam date. The agency has also advised the candidates to keep visiting the official website.
