Councilors got angry after the budget of more than Rs 5 billion for development works was passed in the board meeting in Firozabad on Tuesday. He accused the Mayor and Municipal Commissioner of passing the budget without reading it. The councilors lay down on the ground in protest. Removed the mic cable and switched off the lights of the board meeting room. Despite protests the budget was passed.

An executive meeting was called in the Municipal Corporation premises on Monday.
