The police arrested two liquor smugglers and filed a case against them and sent them to jail.
In view of the panchayat elections, SP Vipin Mishra has directed all the police station to stop criminal activities including making spurious liquor. Huzurpur Police Station RP Yadav received information from the informer that a fake liquor factory is running in the village of Pena.
Action taken on informant’s information
Taking the information seriously, reached the spot with his broker. The team conducted raids from all around, and a cache of fake liquor was recovered. The police station said that 130 liters of counterfeit liquor, 351 vials of indigenous counterfeit liquor, urea, salmon, lid, three bundle vials and other items were recovered.
During interrogation, the accused were identified as Raja Singh alias Satyam Singh and Panchu Nishad son Rampher. The police station officer said that during interrogation of the arrested people it was found that they make fake liquor like contracts and sell them at high prices. A case was filed against both of them and sent to jail.
