After the massive surge in Covid-19 cases last month, every state has been struggling to maintain availability of oxygen and life saving drugs. In several cities, people have died due to shortage of oxygen. However, the Nandurbar district of Maharashtra stands out as an exception. The district administration of Nandurbar has ensured enough stock of Oxygen cylinders as well as Remdesivir injections. The district has also earned praise for its well-managed vaccination drive. The Times of India Spoke to Nandurbar District Magistrate Dr Rajendra Bharud to understand how he has managed essential supplies and helped the people in these tough times.
