Heavy police force reached the spot late at night

Cow herds attacked the police in Meerut late on Wednesday night. Four policemen have been injured in the attack. It is being told that the policemen had gone to catch the cows at 1.20 am on the information of cow slaughter. When the police reached the spot on information, men and women together started scuffling with the police personnel. The police have recovered a huge amount of meat from the spot and arrested three people. Police is conducting raids to arrest the remaining accused.
