1. Both puja and namaz continued in Gyanvapi: On April 1, a petition was heard in the Supreme Court against the ban on worship in the Vyas basement of the Gyanvapi complex. In this, the lawyer of the mosque side presented his arguments demanding an immediate ban on the puja. Chief Justice DY Chandrachud said- Puja in the Gyanvapi basement and namaz in the mosque will continue.
The Supreme Court has ordered that this status quo should not be changed without its permission.
- The Supreme Court said that no party will be harassed without the approval and permission of the court.
- Following the orders of January 17 and January 31, the Muslim side is restricted to prayers at the Gyanvapi Mosque, while the Hindu priests are also confined to the puja basement.
- The entry of the basement is from the south and the entry of the mosque is from the north, so both do not affect each other.
- In 1991, the petitioner local priests filed a petition in the Varanasi Court.

2. The President went home and gave Bharat Ratna to Advani: On March 31, senior BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani was given the Bharat Ratna, the country's highest civilian honour. President Draupadi Murmu visited his house and honored him with Bharat Ratna. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Home Minister Amit Shah and former Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu were also present on this occasion.

3. Hardik Singh and Salima Tete became the best hockey players: The 6th Hockey India Awards 2023 ceremony was held in New Delhi on 31 March. Hardik Singh and Salima Tete were named the best male and female players of 2023. PR Sreejesh received the Hockey India Baljeet Singh Award for Best Goalkeeper.

4. Production starts at Adani Total Gas's Barsana plant: On March 31, Adani Group company Adani Total Gas Limited started production at its plant in Barsana, Uttar Pradesh. This project is worth a total of Rs 200 crore, which is to be completed in three phases.
This plant will process 225 tonnes of agricultural waste daily.
- 10 tons of biogas will be produced daily from this plant.
- Once fully operational, 600 tonnes of organic waste will be processed here.
- This will produce 42 TPD (42 tonnes per day) compressed biogas and 217 tonnes of organic manure.
- The company claims that this will be India's largest bio-CNG plant based on agri waste.
- This is the first production facility of Adani Total Energies Biomass Limited (ATBL).
- Which converts organic material into renewable biogas with the help of advanced anaerobic digestion technology.
- This significantly reduces greenhouse gas emissions and fossil fuel dependence.

5. Successful test of BrahMos missile: On March 29, the Indian Army successfully tested the supersonic cruise missile BrahMos from Andaman and Nicobar Islands. This Rising Sun missile is capable of hitting its target at a distance of more than 450 kilometers.
The range of BrahMos missile has been increased by updating.
- Earlier, the Air Force had tested BrahMos missile on 4 January 2024.
- It can be launched from submarine, warship, aircraft or even land.
- The speed of this missile is about 6 thousand kilometers per hour.
- Russia's NPO Mashinostroyenia and India's DRDO have jointly created it.
