Deendayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University has put forward its clear stand on the allegations of blacklisting of the firm selected for manpower supply. The university’s investigation revealed that the allegations were a mere confusion due to similar names of the firms.

Selection of BIS and initiation of complaints The university had selected BIS through a bid process for outsourcing employees. After the selection of BIS, this matter was complained to the Chief Minister on IGRS portal. It was alleged in the complaint that DDU had selected a blacklisted firm as the outsourcing agency and a demand was made to cancel the selection and conduct a re-bidding process.
Investigation revealed the entire history of BIS After receiving a complaint from IGRS, DDU University investigated the matter, which found that BIS was last appointed as a security guard between 2002 and 2006. After this the responsibility of security was given to the Sainik Welfare Board. The investigation also made it clear that BIS did not do any work in DDU University.
Blacklisted firm has no connection with BIS Furthermore, the firms that were blacklisted had no connection with BIS, thereby proving that the allegations leveled against the selected firms were completely baseless.
