Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman starrer Deadpool & Wolverine will have jokes on MCU president Kevin Feige.
ews1Marvel Cinematic Universe’s one of the most exciting projects Deadpool 3 will hit theatres this summer, bringing back Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson, aka ‘Deadpool’ opposite Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine. While fans eagerly await the superhero threequel, it is expected to bring a lot of surprises this time with jokes about Kevin Feige, the president of Marvel Studios. Actor Karan Soni, who will be seen reprising his role as Deadpool’s sidekick Dopinder, in a recent conversation with Collider spilt beans about some exciting surprises in the film.
During this while, he also opened up about the film having a lot of jokes about the MCU boss, thus suggesting that the Marvel film which is known for its meta-comedy, will seemingly do it again.
Revealing that Feige has worked closely with Ryan Reynolds and Shawn Levy for the upcoming film, Karan said, “I got the scene like the day before or whatever, and we walked into the sound stage, and he just appeared next to Hugh Jackman, and I was just like, I don’t know what’s happening. It was really crazy, but he was very sweet and very kind. He came up and said hi to all of us from the original movies and stuff, and he seemed excited himself by what was happening.”
The actor also spoke about the inclusion of jokes in the film and added, “Ryan is definitely like, you know, calling him out a lot at the moment. There are a lot of Kevin jokes. You have to have a good sense of humor and he does. So that’s cool.”
The actor further also heaped a lot of praise for the third instalment of Deadpool, which had been in the works for several years now. ”
“I can say that I think it’ll be really good, this movie, and from my little experience of my part of it, it’s definitely. Ryan’s taking full advantage of the MCU and playing with all the toys,” Soni said.
Deadpool & Wolverine which will hit theatres on 26 June 2024 will mark Hugh Jackman’s return to the superhero world in his titular character. Apart from Reynolds and Jackman, many other prominent characters such as Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, and Shioli Kutsuna as Yukio among others are also expected to reprise their roles.
