Marvel Cinematic Universe’s recently released film ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ has collected Rs 3,650 crore globally in the first weekend. With this, it became the highest-grossing Hollywood film in the opening weekend of 2024.
This film was released worldwide on 26th July.
The lifetime collection record of the previous part was broken in 3 days
In the country, this film has earned 83 crores rupees (net 66.15 crores) in just three days. This is more than the lifetime collection of Deadpool 1 (40.79 crores) and Deadpool 2 (69.94 crores) released earlier in India.
Did amazing business in international market too
Not just India and America, this film has made amazing first weekend collections everywhere. In the US alone, this film earned 205 million dollars (1715 crores).
Apart from this, it earned $24 million (Rs 200 crore 92 lakh) in its opening weekend in China, $22.10 million (Rs 185.02 crore) in the UK and $18.70 million (Rs 156 crore 55 lakh) in Mexico. It has also become the highest-grossing A-rated film in the domestic and international markets.
The film’s lead actor Hugh Jackman recently shared this post on social media.
Marvel Universe’s 34th film ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ was released in the country on July 26 in four languages (English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu).
