Within two days, Deadpool & Wolverine surpassed Deadpool 1’s lifetime collection in India. Deadpool, which was released in 2016, ended its run at the Indian box office with a collection of Rs 40.79 cr GBOC.
Deadpool & Wolverine is expected to do good business on Sunday as well. The film was one of the most highly-anticipated films of the year and received good reviews. News18 Showsha gave the Marvel film a four-star rating and wrote in its review: “Shawn Levy might have not put together the perfect Deadpool film but man, he does a true fan service to Marvel fans — of MCU and the X-Men world — in all its glory. The MCU has been missing this for a while now. It felt good to walk out of a Marvel film after a while.”
As the trailers have already revealed, Shawn Levy revives Logan seven years after James Mangold buried him, bringing him face-to-face with Wade Wilson. Mr. Paradox (Matthew Macfadyen) informs Deadpool about his timeline’s culmination, prompting them to embark on a journey to save Wade’s timeline (Earth-10005). They land in the void, or as I would call it—the multiverse of cameos. They cross paths with Cassandra Nova (Emma Corrin), who will either make or break their way out of the void.
Marvel Studios’ Deadpool & Wolverine is in cinemas in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
