Today it has been 2 years since Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan left this world. But his memories are still etched in our mind. On the occasion of Irfan’s death anniversary, his son Babil wrote an emotional post sharing a photo of Irfan and Sutapa. Through his post, Babil told that he is unable to move on from the memories of his father.
Babil got emotional after remembering Irfan
Babil wrote, “Dear Baba…I try to remember the perfume you used to wear when we traveled to the North to watch the lights dance in Norway. I remember your scent. I remember that sensation. I used to have, when you spread my palms to tell my fortunes, but then you pinch my nostrils. I used to get scared of that.”
Babil is not ready to move on from Irrfan
Babil further wrote, “I am not ready to move on and never will be. You and I are another cosmic. All is there, but is not, I was conscious yet forgot. You in my thinking Still breathing, in the place of our madness. I remember the fight I used to do with you. You used to explore the silence.”
Irfan was diagnosed with cancer in 2018
Irrfan married Sutapa Sikdar in 1995, whom he met while studying at the National School of Drama. The couple has two sons, named Babil and Ayan. Apart from earning a name for his work in the Hindi film industry, Irrfan has also acted in Oscar winning films, which are ‘Life of Pi’, ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’, ‘Inferno’, etc.
Irrfan Khan was diagnosed with neuroendocrine cancer in 2018 and was undergoing treatment for almost 2 years. But died on April 29, 2020 at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai.
