DEI alumni cleaning Yamuna river.

Alumni of Dayalbagh Educational Institute (DEI) participated in Alumni Connect and took up the task of cleaning the Yamuna River. Alumni share their experiences. Dr. RS Pareek, who received Padmashree, was also present in the program. To clean the Yamuna river, the work of removing silt from the river was done by the youth. The youth were ordered to work wearing life jackets. Volunteers were keeping the garbage on the shore. The garbage was being disposed of by the Nagar Panchayat's garbage van. Camels were brought to the banks of Yamuna, which were the center of attraction. Children gave colorful cultural presentations. Former students were informed that work to clean Yamuna is being done for the last 10 months. People now come here to visit in the morning and evening.
