Atul Kumar of Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University won the gold medal in the -90 kg category on the second day today, at the All India Inter University Judo (Men) Championship 2021-22 at Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University. Devesh of Kurukshetra University won silver medal in the championship. Jagtar Singh of LPU Punjab, Rahul Ahlawat of MD University got the bronze medal. Anil of Indira Gandhi University Mirpur stood fourth.
Delhi University won in 100 kg weight category
In the 100 kg weight category, Delhi University’s Vidhan performed brilliantly and won the gold medal. Lalit of Indira Gandhi University Mirpur won the silver medal. Chowdhary Banshi Lal University Bhiwani Yash and Jitesh Dagar of Panjab University Chandigarh won the bronze medal. On the second day, competitions were held in several weight categories. In this the participating players showed one by one bets to beat each other. In the previous competitions, in -66 kg category, Keshav of Panjab University got gold, Harsh of Delhi University got silver and Saurabh Singh of Punjabi University and Mohit of Rabindra Nath University jointly won bronze medal.

In 86 kg weight category, Deepak Mishra of LPU got Gold, Harsh Preet Singh of Punjabi University got Silver and Dhopavkar Aditya of Savitribai Phule University and Pathan Samir Khan of Gujarat University got Bronze medal. The winners were awarded by Dr. Sudhanshu Pandya, Dean Administration, Prof. Suvigya Awasthi, Director School of Business Management, CDC Director Dr. Rajesh Kumar Dwivedi.
