The miscreants threatened the cloth merchant with the looted mobile phone
In Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, a case of demanding extortion of Rs 25 lakh from a textile trader has come to light. The mobile number from which the extortion is sought. That phone belongs to a 17 year old boy. Which was robbed by the miscreants a long time ago. There is fear in the family of the cloth merchant after receiving threats from the miscreants. Police officials have deployed four teams including STF, Crime Branch for the disclosure of the incident.
Police registered case
Satnam Singh Nayyar has a big cloth shop by the name of Nayyar Cloth House in the main market located in Lalkurti. Police said that the miscreants have demanded extortion of Rs 25 lakh from the cloth trader. The businessman has been threatened with murder if he does not pay the extortion. On the complaint of the victim, a case has been registered against unknown people at Lalkurti police station.
The miscreants had threatened with the looted phone
The number from which the aggrieved businessman was called for extortion. When the police and surveillance team investigated that number, it was found that this number is in the name of a person from Chirodi village of Daurala police station area of Meerut.
When SOG and Lalkurti police reached the spot, the person resident of Chirodi told that on June 4, 2 miscreants had robbed the mobile from my son (17) years in Pallavapuram. The report of which has also been lodged at Pallavapuram police station. The police has started questioning by taking the owner of the mobile number ID, resident of Chirodi village, into custody.
Crime branch team engaged in investigation
Inspector Lalkurti Rakesh Kumar told that extortion of 25 lakhs has been demanded from the textile trader. A case has been registered and the missing mobile number has been reported in Pallavapuram. Force in Chirodi village On Wednesday, heavy police force reached Chirodi village of Daurala area. In which the team of Inspector Lalkurti Rakesh Kumar, Inspector Pallavapuram Devesh Sharma and Crime Branch were also involved.
Suddenly there was chaos when several police vehicles reached the village. At first the villagers and other people could not understand what was the matter. Later, the police took Devendra, a resident of Chirodi village, into custody. The mobile of Devendra’s 17-year-old son was snatched by bike-borne miscreants. The police is also secretly interrogating Devendra’s son.
Mobile was looted for extortion
Apart from the police, crime branch, STF is looking for the miscreants. But the miscreants have already done all the planning. They first robbed a mobile phone from a 17-year-old boy in Pallavapuram area in a planned manner and then demanded extortion from his number itself. So that the police can’t catch the miscreants.
