Non-government aided school managers protested in Lucknow.
As soon as the Lok Sabha elections were over, a round of demonstrations started in Lucknow. On Monday, a demonstration was held at the headquarters of the Directorate of Secondary Education in Hazratganj. The school managers of the state’s non-government aided school management association gheraoed the directorate.

Executive President Arvind Kumar, who was sitting with the managers on the dharna, said that we had already protested 6 months ago for our demands. Then it had to be postponed due to the elections. Then the officials had assured that there would be a hearing. But no one is listening to us.

Arvind Kumar said that the managers of non-government aided schools from 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh have gathered to discuss the 20-point charter of demands. Everyone says that the way our demands are being ignored is wrong.
Arvind Kumar alleged that the DIOS and divisional JD posted at the district level in the field are harassing the managers by targeting them while ignoring the government orders and departmental circulars.
He said that we raised our voice against the corruption being done by DIOS and other employees. But even that is not being heard. Arvind Kumar said that if our demands are not considered seriously soon, then we will take to the streets and protest continuously.
