Denied Property Transfer to His Name, Man Beheads Mother with Farming Blade in UP – News18

A man allegedly beheaded his mother on Saturday for not transferring a land parcel to his name in Uttar Pradesh’s Sitapur.

The incident took place in Mejapur village under the Taalgaon police station area, police said.

The accused, Dinesh Pasi chopped off his mother’s head with a farming blade, said Sitapur SP Chakresh Mishra.

The headless body of 75-year-old woman was recovered from outside their home and sent for post-mortem, said police, adding that the accused is absconding.

The 35-year-old accused was an alcoholic, allegedly murdered his mother as she refused to transfer a land parcel to his name, Mishra said. Efforts are underway to nab the accused, the SP added.

In a similar incident, a 22-year-old son raped his death mother corpse on a street in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore city.

Indore police had registered a case under section 297 (offers any indignity to any human corpse) of the Indian Penal Code against the 22-year-old man however, no arrest has been made so far, according to news agency, PTI.

The accused allegedly had sex with his mother’s corpse on the street in the Badi Gwaltoli area on the intervening night of December 1 and 2, said Palasia police station in-charge Jagdish Prasad Jamre.

Two students living in a hostel in a nearby locality had captured the incident on a mobile phone and informed the police about the incident.

On getting informed about the rape, the Palasia police met the accused and found that he was mentally unwell according to the report.
