MLA from Lambhua seat in Sultanpur district, Devamani Dwivedi has complained to the CM accusing the DM of corruption. The government has set an inquiry regarding his allegations. However the DM has completely rejected the MLA’s allegations.

In Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh, the ruling MLA and DM have come face to face. BJP MLA from Lambhua Assembly constituency Devamani Dwivedi has accused DM C. Indumati of corruption, while talking about turning the disaster into an opportunity in the Corona era. However, the DM has termed the allegations leveled by the MLA as baseless. He said that there is no truth in the allegations, all the allegations are beyond the truth.
Talking to the media, Lambhua MLA Devamani Dwivedi said that during the Corona transition period, DM C. Indumati turned the disaster into an opportunity. The MLA said that the kit which was purchased at the time of transition has been purchased at a price higher than the government directed price. The MLA has demanded an inquiry, accusing the DM of corruption. Taking cognizance of this complaint letter of the MLA at the government level, orders for investigation have also been given.

On the other hand, there has been a stir among the officials after the MLA informed about the letter being sent to the government. In a hurry, DM C. Indumati called the reporters and presented his case. DM said that there is no truth in the allegations leveled by MLA Lambhua. All allegations are beyond the truth. Transparency has been done on the instructions of the government and the Chief Minister. If there is anything wrong with the purchase, then the matter will be investigated. The Chief Minister and the government will be made aware.
