The last match of the five-Test series between India and England is to be held in Dharamsala from March 7. There are now two days left for the start of the fifth Test and the curator will discuss with Team India captain Rohit Sharma and head coach Rahul Dravid to finalize the pitch.

According to media reports, after the rain stops, the curator will discuss with the Indian team management before finalizing the pitch. Rohit and Rahul Dravid reached Dharamshala on Tuesday afternoon.

Although it may be a bit difficult to completely change the pitch two days before the match starting on Thursday, but how much grass to keep on it or when to water it will depend on the discussion. Except Hyderabad, the pitches in the Tests played in Visakhapatnam, Rajkot and Ranchi were suitable for batsmen on the first two days.

There was a turning track in Hyderabad
In the first Test played in Hyderabad, the pitch was taking a lot of turns from the very first day, India had to face defeat in this match. After this, the team management decided to prepare Indian traditional pitches in the remaining matches. Traditional pitch i.e. for batsmen on the first two days and after that the pitch starts turning on the third day.

India is ahead 3-1 in the series
A 5 test series is being played between India and England. The first Test, which started in Hyderabad from January 25, was won by England by 28 runs. After this, India won 3 consecutive matches and took an unassailable 3-1 lead in the series.

Test match being held in Dharamshala after 7 years
Only the second Test match in history will be held in Dharamshal. Earlier in 2017, the first Test match was played here between India and Australia. India won it by 8 wickets and captured the series 2-1. Now the last match of the series will be played between India and England from March 7.
