Director Nitesh Tiwari’s project of making a film on Ramayana seems to be in trouble. The shooting of the film was to begin by the end of 2023. Madhu Mantena, Namit Malhotra and Allu Aravind were going to produce the film together. But, due to mutual differences, now they will not work together on this project.

Actually, there were differences going on between the producers regarding the controversy over the film Adipurush and the failure of the film. Because of this, this team will no longer work together on this project. Now there may be further delay in the production of the film.

According to reports, Nitesh Tiwari was working with a plan to make a film on Ramayana in a three-part series.

Ranbir Kapoor may also withdraw from the project
Till now, no official information has been shared by the filmmakers regarding the casting of the roles of Ram-Sita. Ranbir Kapoor’s name was also coming up for the role of Ram in the film. But, according to reports, due to the delay in the film, Ranbir is also not particularly interested in this project.

At the same time, it has been decided to cast Tamil actress Sai Pallavi for the role of Sita. The actress is going to make her Bollywood debut with this film. Ravi Udyavar will co-direct the film with Nitesh Tiwari.

Look test for the role of Sita was to be held in November.
Yesterday the news came that Sai Pallavi’s look test for the role of Sita is to be done in November. Earlier, there was talk of casting Deepika Padukone and then Alia Bhatt for the role of Mother Sita. However, according to ETimes, the director never offered this role to Alia Bhatt.

According to ETimes’ source, Sai is the director’s first choice for the role of Mother Sita and no change will be made in the casting until the look test is done. Sai Pallavi made her debut in 2005 with the Tamil film Kasturi Maan.

Ravana’s casting was not finalized
The look test of KGF actor Naveen Kumar Gowda for the role of Ravana in the film has come to light. However, the name of the lead actor for this role has not been confirmed yet.

Recently, it was reported that the director has chosen KGF actor Yash alias Naveen Kumar Gowda for the role of Ravana but Yash refused to do the negative role.
