Municipal Corporation team reached St. John’s intersection to remove encroachment
A fight broke out between the Municipal Corporation’s Enforcement Task Force team and vendors of food stalls and vendors at St. John’s intersection in Agra. The Municipal Corporation’s Enforcement Task Force had arrived to remove the encroachment. Meanwhile, there is discord among the employees and street vendors.

The team had arrived even 10 days ago
Municipal Corporation officials say that encroachment campaign was launched 10 days ago also. Those setting up stalls and street vendors were warned. But there was no effect. In the evening, there is a traffic jam due to street vendors and stalls. People park their vehicles there and enjoy eating and drinking. Due to lack of parking facilities, vehicles remain parked on the road.
Permission was received from Municipal Corporation
The street vendors on St. John’s say that they met the Assistant Municipal Commissioner in the Municipal Corporation. Permission was sought to set up a street vendor. Application form was also given. On which instructions were given for necessary action. He was given permission. But the team that reached on Tuesday did not listen to anyone.
Both parties reached the police station
After the fight and dispute, the Municipal Corporation team as well as the street vendors reached Lohamandi police station. A complaint has been given by the Municipal Corporation. The street vendors allege that they are not being heard in the Municipal Corporation. They will also file a complaint against the youth who assaulted them.
