DM held a review meeting in Jalaun.

The monthly review meeting of the District Education Monitoring Committee and Nipun Task Force was held in the Collectorate Auditorium of Orai today under the chairmanship of Jalaun DM Rajesh Kumar Pandey. In this, the DM was asked to take action on the slow progress of construction of handicapped toilets and tiling etc. under Operation Kanyakalp.

While giving instructions to the District Development Officer and all the Block Development Officers, he said that the Block Development Officer and Block Education Officer should establish mutual coordination and complete the incomplete works with time and quality.

While giving instructions to all the officers present in the meeting, the DM said that the incomplete construction works should be completed on time and with quality. If any obstacle is arising somewhere, then it should be brought to notice, in the schools where the work of disabled toilets and tiling is incomplete, the Block Education Officer and Block Development Officer should personally monitor and supervise the work and get the quality work completed as soon as possible.

There will be no compromise on quality
The DM said that the members of the District Task Force and Block Task Force must complete the inspection of the school and send their updated report through the Basic Education Officer. He said that the Block Education Officer should make special efforts to ensure 100% attendance by increasing monitoring and supervision in his allotted block. During the campaign, the attendance of children with low attendance should be ensured by knocking on their doors, no compromise should be made with the educational and physical quality of the schools.

Camps will be organized block wise
He said that by the end of July, a campaign should be run to issue disability certificates to handicapped students on the prescribed dates by organizing development block-wise camps. He directed that a target be set by the government under the Nipun Bharat Mission, which should be accomplished on time. On this occasion, Chief Development Officer Rajendra Kumar Shrivas, District Development Officer Subhash Chandra Tripathi, Basic Education Officer Chandra Prakash, District Panchayat Raj Officer Ram Ayodhya Prasad, etc., including concerned officials were present.
