The evening aarti has been started on Tuesday by the institution of Dawn-e-Banaras at Assi Ghat in Kashi. The priests and the local people started protesting about this. In this regard, the Municipal Corporation should make a clear arrangement that all the Artis on the Ghats should be registered by the Municipal Corporation. The allocation of space to them should also be done by the Municipal Corporation for one year and it should be renewed every year.

No Aarti will be on the ghats without permission

Along with this, it should also be clarified that no future aarti should be performed by any private person or institution at any ghat without the permission of the Municipal Corporation. It should also be checked that the same institution or group of individuals should not perform aarti at more than one ghat. After completing the necessary investigation of LIU, a decision should be taken on the renewal of those who are registered.

Also nominate a Nodal Officer for Ghats under Municipal Corporation
