Inspection of idol immersion sites in Chitrakoot.
There has been a ban on idol immersion in the Mandakini river in Chitrakoot. The administration says that neither spread dirt nor idol immersion in the Mandakini river. Unpleasant incidents mostly happen in the river during idol immersion. On Thursday, the District Magistrate inspected the idol immersion sites.
DM gave instructions for cleanliness
District Magistrate Shubhrant Kumar Shukla inspected the places of idol immersion in Ranipur Bhatt, Kachi Cantonment Tarauha, Ranan Talab Sonepur, Bankat on Thursday. The District Magistrate directed the officials concerned that there should be cleanliness, lighting, diving and boat arrangements at the places of idol immersion.
Do not let children go to the river bank or the bank of the pond
The District Magistrate said that the children should not be allowed to go to the banks of the river or the banks of the pond and there should be no negligence of any kind, which may lead to an unpleasant incident. SSI Nagar Palika Parishad Karvi informed that about 150 idols will be immersed at these places. On this occasion, Deputy Collector Karvi Pooja Yadav, Tehsildar Karvi Sanjay Agrahari, SSI Municipal Council Karvi KK Shukla, Lekhpal Gulzar Singh etc. concerned officers were present.
