Prize distribution ceremony was organized on Wednesday at Shri Guru Nanak Academy located in Dumariaganj Nagar Panchayat. In this, the winners of essay writing competition held on the occasion of last Teacher’s Day were awarded. A total of 70 children from class 5 to class 10 participated in the competition.

Adiba Rehman, Muskan Agrahari, Yuvraj Chaurasia, Karishma, Asthavi Patel, Apoorva Shukla 7, Sanskar Gupta, Azima Rehman were honored with prizes in the competition. The chief guest was Dr Afridi Khatoon of Sajida Hospital.

‘Sports awakens the spirit of competition’

Dr. Afrida Khatoon said, “Such competitions bring out the hidden talents in the children. Organizing such programs inculcates the spirit of competition in the children. The program was conducted by the teacher, Azim Abbas Rizvi. The manager of the school participated in the program. Paramjit Singh Bhatia, Arvinder Singh Bhatia, Aryan, Nadeem, Rajesh, Neelam, Nidhi Gupta, Pratiksha, Pragati, Shabina and Pooja Soni were present.
