The DRDO team will reach BHU today to build the hospital.

In Varanasi district till Monday afternoon, 1148 people have been found newly infected in the report. There are 16123 active cases in the district. In view of the explosive situation of Corona, an important meeting today was chaired by MLC AK Sharma, including Divisional Commissioner Deepak Agarwal, DM Kaushal Raj Sharma, Municipal Commissioner Gaurang Rathi and DRDO, BHU, and Power officials in the Circuit House Hall. In the decision, a 1000-bed temporary hospital will be constructed in BHU Stadium by DRDO (Defense Research and Development Organization) in the next two weeks.

Hospital will be built with German hangar

It was informed by the district administration that a one-thousand-bed temporary hospital is going to be built in the stadium of BHU, which will be equipped with all medical facilities. Built in the German hangar, this hospital will be built in the next two weeks by DRDO working 24 hours.

The main focus will be on the system of oxygen

Field visits for the connection of electricity supply, water and sewer for this hospital have been started today by the concerned authorities. DRDO will also arrange pharmacy, oxygen supply, morchery. In the system of doctors, medical staff and other technicians, the administration has already gathered on a war footing. Data of doctors and medical staff of BHU has also been summoned for this hospital. At one place, more and more patients can be treated with ease.
