High court granted bail to Riya on this basis
Riya Chakraborty was granted regular bail by the Bombay High Court in the drugs case related to the Sushant case. In that order, the High Court had recorded that just giving money to someone to buy hemp and hiding it from the investigating agency after getting the hemp does not come under the category of trading drugs. Therefore, Section 27A of NDPS Act does not become a case on Riya Chakraborty.
