In Kannauj district of Uttar Pradesh, a wife was outnumbered to demand money from her husband for household expenses. The unemployed husband beat him first and then put kerosene and set him on fire. Somehow the victim gave information to the family by calling. The family members reached the spot and admitted the daughter, who was burnt by fire, to the district hospital.
This case is of Muradganj in Gursahaiganj Kotwali area of Kannauj. On Sunday morning, wife Chandni asked her husband for money, citing lack of food grains. He also asked the husband for money for medicines for the sick child.
