An e-rickshaw driver was robbed near Krishna Petrol Pump on Kaimganj bypass in Farrukhabad. During this, the e-rickshaw driver was tied with a plastic rope and attacked with a sharp weapon on his neck, hands and stomach. The robbers found the e-rickshaw driver in a dying condition.

E-rickshaw battery is down
Brijesh Kumar (36), son of Ashok Kumar, a resident of Mohalla Palla Galla Mandi in the Farrukhabad city Kotwali area, drives his own e-rickshaw. Then a youth from Mohalla Jatwara asked the e-rickshaw owner to drop him to Hathiapur. The driver was going to drop the youth to Hathiapur in the e-rickshaw. Then the battery of the e-rickshaw went down near the Krishna Petrol Pump on the Kaimganj bypass ahead of Jasmai. So he started coming back.
During this time, the youth called his three other companions and looted the 600 rupees kept in the pocket of the e-rickshaw owner Brijesh Kumar and tied the e-rickshaw driver with a plastic rope and beat him up. The injured e-rickshaw driver Brijesh has accused 4 people including the named youth of attacking him with a sharp weapon and injuring him and fleeing with the e-rickshaw.
The young man reached the police station by cutting the rope
He told that after the robbers left the spot, he cut the rope with great difficulty and reached Maudarwaja police station in an injured state. The police admitted the injured Brijesh Kumar to Linjiganj Hospital. Medical examination was also done on the basis of the complaint. From there, the doctor referred the injured to Lohia District Hospital after seeing his serious condition.
Doctor Abhishek Chaturvedi posted on duty at District Hospital Lohia said that Brijesh Kumar, a youth with his throat and hands cut, has been brought and admitted by the police personnel. The condition of the injured is critical. He has been admitted and treatment has been started. On receiving the information of the case, Hathiyapur outpost in-charge Tarun Singh Bhadauriya reached District Hospital Lohia to inquire about the incident from the injured Brijesh Kumar and took information from the injured regarding the incident.
The police station in-charge said that the fight took place after drinking alcohol
SHO Amit Gangwar said that Brijesh and his friend were drinking alcohol together. There was a dispute between the two over drinking alcohol. During this, both of them started fighting. The robbery incident is false. Injured Brijesh has been given a medical examination after treatment. Outpost in-charge Tarun Singh Bhadoria has also been sent for examination to the district hospital Lohia. Action will be taken after further investigation.
