On Monday evening, an electric wire broke and fell in a wheat field in Bela Kala village of Sant Kabir Nagar. The spark emanating from it caught fire in the field. On receiving information, the villagers of three villages somehow extinguished the fire, but about 30 bighas of wheat crop was burnt and destroyed.
