Bumrah bounced back in style and played vital roles in India’s unbeaten march into the 2023 ODI World Cup final and last month, produced player-of-the-tournament performance to help India win T20 World Cup.

A video of a Pakistani boy imitating his bowling action is going viral on on social media and it has caught the attention of legendary Wasim Akram.

“Wah jee wah, look at that control and action exactly like the great @Jaspritbumrah93. Video of the day for me. #crickethavenoboundaries,” Akram wrote while sharing the clip.

Bumrah is in the midst of a much-deserved break having played non-stop cricket since returning from a long-term injury layoff last August.
