Tamil popular actor Vivek has died on Saturday morning at the age of 59. He was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai on Friday after a heart attack. According to reports, Vivek breathed his last at the hospital at 4.35 am. There is a wave of mourning in the Tamil film industry after Vivek’s death. Many of his fans and friends, including him are sharing posts on social media and remembering him.
According to reports, Vivek had a heart attack at home. After which he was immediately admitted to SIMS Hospital in Vadapalani. It was revealed in his medical checkup that the blood vessels that deliver blood to his heart have been blocked. The report stated that he was receiving ECMO treatment from doctors. He was under the supervision of doctors in the ICU.
Corona vaccine was introduced two days ago
According to doctors, Vivek was brought to the hospital after complaining of chest pain. While in pain, he fainted at his home. Doctors said that he had a heart attack which resulted in 100% blockage in the left coronary blood vessel. It is also being told that Vivek had administered the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine at a government hospital in Omandurar on Thursday, two days ago. At the same time, people started spreading rumors that Vivek had a heart attack due to the vaccine. However, the doctors had said that the vaccine was not the reason for Vivek’s deteriorating health. Vivek’s reports also state that they were not even found to be infected with corona.
Appealed to people to get the vaccine
After the first dose, Vivek had also shared the post on social media and appealed to the people to get the vaccine. He had said, “The vaccine is completely safe and everyone can get it done by going to the hospital. Instead of going to the private hospital, Vivek got the vaccine by going to the government hospital and asked people to do the same. He said, “People have more access to government hospitals. And we should not think that if we get the vaccine, then we will not fall ill, we will still have to take care. The vaccine can only reassure us that the danger will be lessened once we apply it. “

Vivek has also done many great films with many superstars like Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Ajit, Vijay, Madhavan, Vikram, Dhanush. Madhavan’s film ‘Run’ proved to be his biggest break. Vivek also acted strongly in Rajinikanth’s ‘Shivaji the Boss’, released in 2007. After this film, he also became popular across the country.
Padmashri Award was received in 2009
He was honored with the Padma Shri in 2009 by the government for his contribution to cinema. Vivek made his debut in 1987 with ‘Manathil Urudhi Vendum’. He has also been the lead actor in many brilliant films like ‘Naan Than Bala’ and ‘Vellai Pookal’. Vivek was last seen in the Harish Kalyan starrer ‘Dharla Prabhu’ released in 2020. He is survived by his wife Arulselvi and two children.
