Crime against women can be identified using eye cosmetic samples to trace suspects, which could work like evidence. “After research of 1 year using spectroscopy, it has been found that cosmetic traces like eyeliner mascara can help to prove crime against woman. Research, with 95% success rate, has been published in ‘Micro Chemical Journal-Elsevier’,” said Prof Vishal Sharma, Panjab University.
