Shahrukh Khan's film Dunky collected Rs 9 crore on the eighth day of its release. In this way the total collection of the film has become Rs 161.01 crore. These figures are from the domestic box office. On the other hand, Salaar has collected Rs 308.90 crore at the domestic box office. The film earned Rs 13.50 crore on the seventh day of its release.

There is a decline in the earnings of both the films Salaar and Donkey. Donkey could not even touch double figures on Thursday. Even after adding the figures of all the languages, Salaar could not earn Rs 15 crore. Talking about the worldwide business, Salaar had crossed the mark of Rs 500 crore on Wednesday itself. Dinky has also earned more than Rs 300 crore.

Dunky is a far cry from Shahrukh Khan's previous films.
Shahrukh Khan made a historic comeback this year. His two films Jawan and Pathan collected more than Rs 500 crore at the Indian box office. Both the films collected more than Rs 1000 crore worldwide.

Jawan is the highest collecting Indian film of this year. If we look at the record of Shahrukh's last two films, Dunky is far behind them. It has done a worldwide business of Rs 300 crore so far. The speed at which the film's earnings are falling. It is estimated that the film will be limited to Rs 400 crore only.

Salaar is Prabhas's third film to earn Rs 500 crore.
Salaar is Prabhas's third film, which has crossed the Rs 500 crore mark. Before this, Bahubali-2 and Bahubali have achieved this feat. Baahubali 2 had collected Rs 1814 crore worldwide.

Its first part Baahubali had earned Rs 650 crore worldwide. According to trade experts, Salar will do a lifetime business of Rs 700 to 800 crore. The budget of the film is said to be Rs 300 crores, hence these figures will not be called bad.

This is a pan India release film. The film has been released in five languages.

Salar's budget is bigger than Dinky's, even if it earns half of KGF-2, it would be enough.
Trade expert Sumit Kadel said that Salar will have to make a net collection of Rs 400 crore to get the hit tag. Meaning the film will have to earn this much only in India. Obviously its budget is much higher than that of Donkey. At present the collection of the film is falling in the South region also. Currently the India net collection of Salaar is 308.90 crores.

Sumit said- The path ahead is not going to be easy for Salar. Take the example of Thalapathy Vijay's film Leo and Rajinikanth's film Jailer. These films did not have any special support from the Hindi belt, yet both the films were successful in doing business of Rs 600 crores. Prashant Neel's previous film KGF-2 had done a business of Rs 1100 crore. It would be enough if Salar could take out even half of it.
