This is the second time Amit Shah has canceled his tour after seeing the performance of farmers – file photo.
Farmers around the country are going to demonstrate agricultural laws today. The Union Home Minister Amit Shah has postponed his present-day Sindhudurg tour in view of farmers’ traffic jam. Shah was coming to Sindhudurg for the first time and here he was to attend the Samaroh of a private medical college. Now he will come on this tour on 7 February i.e. Sunday.
Amit Shah is scheduled to attend the inauguration ceremony of the Medical College of Narayan Rane. The Dean of Lifetime Medical College and Hospital has also confirmed the postponement of Amit Shah’s visit. Let me tell you that even before this, due to the peasant movement, Amit Shah had to cancel the Konkan tour.
A new poster of the event has been released after the tour was postponed.
Many big BJP leaders will also be involved
Former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, state president Chandrakant Patil and Praveen Darekar will also attend the event.
Narayan Rane’s victory tied in Konkan
In the Gram Panchayat election results, in many districts of Konkan including Sindhudurg, Bharatiya Janata Party has won better than Shiv Sena. Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut has also acknowledged his weakness in Konkan. The BJP believes that the major contribution to this victory is the leadership of Narayan Rane. Recently, Y level security has also been provided by the central government to go to Narayan. Shah’s arrival here is proof that Rane’s stature is steadily increasing in the BJP.
Farmers will also protest in Maharashtra
It is worth noting that against the agricultural laws, farmers’ organizations have called for a blockade jam from 12 to 3 pm on February 6 across the country. Maharashtra will also see this performance in many cities including Mumbai.
