In protest against agricultural laws, on Saturday, full preparations have been made to block the national and state highways at about 10 to 12 places by the United Farmers Front in Alwar district. The effect of which has started to be seen from 10:30 in the morning. Farmers’ movement continues on National Highway 48 at Shahjahanpur Haryana border. The service lane is also closed there at 10:30 in the morning. Which will be closed till 3 o’clock. Due to which vehicles passing through the service lanes of the highway have started coming through the villages. From 12 noon, the road will be blocked at Shahjahanpur toll plaza on National Highway 48. Farmers have started arriving there from 11 o’clock. Similarly, at different places in the district, the joint Kisan Morcha has prepared all the jams on the national highway and state highway.
Toll plazas also blocked
United Kisan Morcha has decided that the road will be blocked around toll plazas on Adhikar State Highway in the district. For which Congress and farmer leaders have taken different responsibility. Congress MLAs have also joined this movement. They will also reach many places during the three-hour jam.
12 to 3 road jams will be here
National Highway-48 of the district at Guglakota turn near Shahjahanpur border. At Shahjahanpur Toll Plaza. At Burdod Toll Plaza. Near Toll Plaza near Matore Road in Khairthal. Near Nauganwa on Highway No. 248, Near Toll on Alwar-Tijara Road, Near Tartarpur on Bahrod-Alwar Road, Near Bansur Toll on Khairthal-Kotputli Road, Near Badoodamev and Ramgarh on Alwar-Bharatpur Road, Jaipur-Alwar Road will be jammed near Malakheda on the road. There will also be jam at Tartarpur intersection, Naugawa Ramgarh border, Thanagaji, Kothi Narayanpur. At this time the driver and general public may have to face problems.
United Kisan Morcha will continue its leadership
United Kisan Morcha officer Balveer Chillar said that the United Front teams will reach different points at 11 am. The road will be blocked as soon as 12. In most places, there will be jam around the toll plaza. Some other roads will also be jammed. No vehicles will be allowed to go ahead between 12 to 3 pm. There will be cooperation of the surrounding villagers, so that this movement can be strengthened further.
Movement on Haryana border from 2 December
The movement of farmers on the Shahjahanpur-Haryana border has been going on since 2 December. The halt started from 2 December under the leadership of Kisan Mahapanchayat. From December 12, farmers came on the National Highway. The Jaipur-Delhi highway lane was blocked. After this, on 25 December, Delhi-Jaipur lanes were also put up barriers. After the police installed a barrier, farmers also buried their tent on Delhi-Jaipur lane. Since then the National Highway – 48 has been closed. Only one side service lane is opened to evacuate special needs vehicles.
Tent for about one and a quarter km on the border
Farmers’ tents are set up on the Shahjahanpur-Haryana border for about one km. Their vehicles stand there. Apart from Rajasthan, Haryana, there are also farmers from Gujarat and Maharashtra. In between, farmers from other states have also come. Yogendra Yadav, the head of Jai Kisan movement, is constantly in the middle of the farmers on this border. Nagaur MP Hanuman Beniwal is also agitating. They keep coming in between. Apart from this, the officials and farmers of United Kisan Morcha are staying.
