Karnataka fast bowler R Vinay Kumar has decided to retire from all types of cricket. The 37-year-old Vinay has played for Team India in all three formats. He also made Karnataka two consecutive Ranji Trophy champions in 2013-14 and 2014-15 under his captaincy.

Vinay Kumar announced his retirement in a statement. In it, he wrote, ‘It has been a privilege for me to play with veterans like Sachin Tendulkar, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Virat Kohli in my career.
