Education Director Secondary Dr. Mahendra Dev said that 100 students of science stream studying in class 12 in government secondary schools will be given training in subjects like robotics and artificial intelligence.
He informed that an agreement has been signed between IIT Mandi (Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission and Secondary Education Department) under the World Bank funded Sankalp Project to encourage digital education and provide training facilities in higher level institutions.
Under this, in the first phase of Project ‘Prayas-2’, 100 students will be imparted training at IIT Mandi during the summer vacation. For this, applications have been invited till March 10. This application can be applied on the link given by IIT Mandi. The application form will be submitted online only.
