It is being told that Rajesh Soni, a resident of Shahganj Square in the city, has a shop in the name of Riddhi Siddhi Jewelers in Chowk Thatheri Bazaar. Rajesh’s shop is in the basement of the market. On Thursday morning he opened the shop as usual. Around 7:30 pm, he performed Diwali puja in the shop, closed the shop at around 9 pm and returned home.

Meanwhile, a crowd of hundreds of people gathered at the spot. The shops that were open nearby were immediately closed by the people.
