First song release of the film 'Dry Day': Jitendra Kumar and Shriya Pilgaonkar will be seen, the film will be released on 22 December.

Jitendra Kumar and Shriya Pilgaonkar starrer Hindi film 'Dry Day' is now ready for release. Meanwhile, the first song of the film has been released today i.e. on 16th December. Holi sequence is shown in the song 'Halla Machha'. Dev Negi and Akasa Singh have given voice in this song.

Story of the film 'Dry Day'

Jitendra has played the character of Gannu. Gannu has to fight alcohol addiction and the system to provide for his and his wife Nirmala's unborn child and to fulfill his dream of becoming a councilor in the small town of Jagodhar. Shriya is playing the character of Nirmala, while Annu Kapoor is playing the role of a politician. In this story, when Gannu's wife vows to abort their child because of his alcohol addiction. Seeing this, Gannu, who is the biggest drunkard of Jagodhar, wants to give up his drinking habit. Now he goes out on a protest to ban liquor in his city.

This is how Jitendra's acting career started

During an interview, Jitendra said- I never thought that I would ever act. The game changer in my life happened in IIT… and this happened because I probably never understood the education in IIT. My problem was that the JEE that I appeared for was in Hindi. The IIT professor was throwing heavy English words at me and I was bearing it.

Everyone knows Jitendra by the name of Jeetu Bhaiya.

Two-four months passed in the hope that everything would be fine, but nothing happened. On the advice of friends, I joined the drama society there. A few years passed like this. Studying had started. My senior was Vishwapati Sarkar. We used to play together. He used to come to Mumbai to intern in TVF production.

When I became a civil engineer, he told me that I am not getting a job, go to Mumbai… do acting and I will write. So he brought me to Mumbai. This is from June 2012. I reached Mumbai by 'Garib Rath' train and had my shoot on the very first day. I had to shoot the video 'Every friend is not necessary'. It was ok. After a few days, I shot 'Munna Jazbati' which was not released, I became disappointed and went to Bangalore and started working in a construction company.

Don't know how it was released after a few months and went viral. I got a call from Vishwapati saying, come, people are calling you…I came immediately. In the initial phase, when something did not work, I used to get very upset. Then my seniors used to explain to me that every work takes time, acting will also take time. Things will grow slowly.
