In Snehanagar of Krishnanagar area of Uttar Pradesh’s capital Lucknow, on Sunday evening, an innocent girl was struck by electric current coming down in an electric pole, which died badly on the spot. At the same time, due to the death of innocent, there was a stir in the people, there was a lot of anger about the electricity department. Krishna Nagar Police, who reached the spot after receiving the information, took possession of the body of the innocent and sent it for postmortem.
According to the information, five-year-old innocent girl Ishika daughter Swa Mangal Soni, living in Sneh Nagar house number 569A / 150 of Krishna Nagar police station area, was going to the shop to pick up the toffee while playing from her house at around 3:30 pm on Sunday. I was struck by the currents falling in the electric poles which caused the innocent to die on the spot. At the same time, there was an outcry in the area due to the death of innocent. The family was in a weeping condition.
At the same time, due to the death of innocent, there was anger among the local people against the electricity department, the local residents insisted to call the officials of the electricity department on the spot. On arrival, Krishnanagar Kotwali in-charge DK Upadhyay assured the people to take action and pacified the dead body of the deceased for post-mortem.

Local residents have alleged that the current has been coming in the pillar for several days, which was complained to Shringar Nagar Power Sub-Center several times but no staff of the department came to fix it. The girl says that for the past several years, complaints have been made to the officials of the electricity department to remove the pillar. The mother of the child says that Z was asking for money to remove the pillar of the electricity department. The people of the electricity department did not remove the pillar for not giving the money.
