Indian team’s star cricketer Virat Kohli has ended the drought of centuries in all three formats. Kohli scored a century after 1205 days, 23 matches and 41 innings in the Test against Australia in Ahmedabad on Sunday. This is his 28th Test century. He scored his 27th Test century against Bangladesh in November 2019.
The phase of Virat’s return to form has started from the Asia Cup in September last year. Since then his old style of batting started coming back. However, Virat himself started looking quite different. Earlier Virat meant aggression and restlessness, now he has started looking stable and assured.

17 November 2023: Kainchi Dham, Nainital
Virat Kohli reached Kainchi Dham in Kumaon, Uttarakhand in November 2022 after the T20 World Cup with wife Anushka Sharma. Here he visited the temple of Baba Neem Karoli Maharaj. Had darshan of Vindhyavasini Devi, Radha Krishna, Vaishno Devi, Hanuman temple in Dham and also participated in Baba’s morning aarti.
In the month of November, during the Kainchi Dham Yatra, Virat Kohli was photographed with the fans.
4 January 2023: Neem Karoli Baba Samadhi, Vrindavan
Before the T20 series against Sri Lanka, Virat Kohli went to Vrindavan, the city of Lord Krishna in the new year. There he visited the Samadhi of Baba Neem Karoli with Anushka. Virat and Anushka’s Vrindavan visit was completely confidential. No one was even aware of this. First both of them went to see the Samadhi of Baba Neem Karoli and then went to Anandmai Ashram, where they met the saints. Along with this, both also visited major temples located there including Banke-Bihari.

January 31, 2023: Dayanand Giri Ashram, Rishikesh
Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma reached Rishikesh before the Test series against Australia. Both of them visited his samadhi in Dayanand Giri Ashram there. Virat and Anushka participated in the religious rituals and organized Bhandara.
This was Virat and Anushka’s third religious visit in the last few months to the Dayanand Giri Ashram.
March 4, 2023: Mahakaleshwar Temple, Ujjain
After the third Test against Australia, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma reached Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain from Indore. Both of them performed Bhasma Aarti at 4 in the morning and took the blessings of God. Virat-Anushka sat in the Nandi hall for about one and a half hours in the temple.
After the Aarti, both of them went to the sanctum sanctorum of the temple and performed Panchamrit Pujan Abhishek. Virat also wore a rosary of Rudraksh around his neck.
Anushka-Virat had darshan of Mahakal sitting in Nandi Hall. Then Mahakal was anointed in the sanctum sanctorum.
Last 6 months, Kohli ended the drought of all three formats.
Kohli’s comeback started in September 2022 against Afghanistan in the Asia Cup. After scoring a century in T20, Virat’s three centuries came out in ODIs. Then in the end, Virat’s Test century also came against Australia.
